Vision & Mission

The Vision and Mission of the Centre for Advancement are directly derived from the general vision and mission of the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. The vision of the University of Ilorin is “to be an international Centre of excellence in learning, research, probity and service to humanity”. Its mission is “to provide a world-class environment for learning, research and community service”. Therefore, the vision and mission of the Centre for Advancement are as stated hereunder:

The Vision:

To engage in activities that would project the University of Ilorin as an international Centre of excellence in learning, research, probity and service to humanity.

The Mission:

To drive its tripartite functions of Endowment, Alumni Relations and Fund Raising towards ensuring that the university becomes a world-class environment for learning, research and community service.

However, accomplishment of the vision and mission of the centre as stated above requires the active involvement of all the stakeholders in the university, investors, donor agencies, university’s endowment partners and friends of the university among others.
